Root Rentals
You can hire electric bikes for anything from one to seven days, or longer if desired. Choose from our extensive range of ebike models – Chunky Fat Tyre for a comfortable ride, tackling varied terrain. There's the S-Cargo to carry the kids around or there are our more traditional road e-bikes for touring cities and towns. If you're looking to head off somewhere in the car you might want folding e-bikes.
It's totally up to you!

You can opt to pick up your rental bikes from Root HQ, which is in Aberuthven, between Perth and Stirling. Or you can opt to use our delivery option - delivery charges apply beyond a 20 mile distance.
Maybe you are considering buying an ebike and have never used one. Hiring one for a few days allows you to check it out, how it fits into your lifestyle, and most importantly, how much fun you can have!
The serious stuff
Included in your hire of your chosen electric bike is a charger, lock and for a modest additional fee we can supply a helmet and panniers.
Proof of address and photo ID is required for all hires. We take a £100 returnable security deposit for each hire bike. Please note that we cannot hire to anybody under 14 - so if you look too young be prepared to prove your age.
